The Law on Oil and Gas (Hydrocarbons) was enacted pursuant to Article 9 of the Constitution to regulate affairs related to determining State ownership and control of hydrocarbons, the preservation, utilization and granting concession rights, the execution of contracts, exploration activities, development, and production of oil and gas. This law entered into force on 14/06/1396 (September 05, 2017) and was published in Official Gazette No. 1277.
