The Law for Regulating Telecommunication Services was enacted pursuant to Articles 10 and 37 of the Constitution in order to promote and develop telecom services. This law was entered into force on 24/04/1389 (May (July 15, 2010) and published in the Official Gazette No. 1031.
Amendment of Regulation on the Manner of Radio Frequency and Wireless Telecommunication Utilization in Afghanistan
The Regulation on the Manner of Radio Frequency and Wireless Telecommunication Utilization in Afghanistan has been amended and published in the Official Gazette number 1397 dated February 3, 2021. The amendments to the regulation addressed usage of the radio frequency and wireless telecommunication, usage of wireless telecommunication devices, licensing and fees, and revenue generated from the licenses and frequencies.
