Ahmad Yama Bassam is an experienced finance professional who has spent the entirety of his post-collegiate career in the investment banking and investment management sector in New York, London, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Dubai, and Kabul.
Mr. Bassam was Managing Partner at Afghan Holding Group, a financial and accounting firm in Afghanistan. He founded True Colors Investing venture after his multi-year tenure heading MENA regional operations as Managing Director for Capitalist Partners, an international strategic consulting firm, where he gained high-level exposure to top-tier international investment structuring and global financial markets.
Mr. Bassam has developed a highly influential professional network of esteemed international executives and policymakers. His prior experience included US public equities expertise from a considerable tenure in research and analysis and headed an investment management team at Morgan Stanley. As Head of External Affairs at Kakar Advocates, Mr. Bassam has been helping to proactively create the corporate identity of the firm.
Mr. Bassam holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix and a Master's in Economics & Finance from Harvard University.
