Aziz Amiri has joined Kakar Advocates as Assistant Tax Manager and was promoted to Tax Manager where he assists clients with their tax matters in Afghanistan.

Mr. Amiri started his career as Finance Officer and worked in the capacities of Tax Assistant, Tax Associate, and Tax Supervisor at Ernst & Young, one of the top 4 accounting firms across the globe.

Mr. Amiri’s educational and professional background gives him an extensive command of different areas of taxation in Afghanistan, including but not limited to tax compliance, tax audit, tax advisory and tax exemption processes with the Afghanistan Revenue Department, and the semi-annual and annual reporting of NGOs registered with Ministry of Economy.

Mr. Amiri’s educational field has been focused on finance. He holds a certificate from International Finance Corporation (IFC) from Kabul University, and several certifications in International Business Accounting, Taxation in Afghanistan, and Quick Books. He is currently pursuing his MBA at Kardan University.
