The Decree on the Regulation of Emirati Corporations’ Affairs, published in Official Gazette No. 1465, introduces a new structure for state-owned companies. Now, the Ministry of Finance is the sole shareholder in these companies. Each of them must register with the Afghanistan Central Business Registry (ACBR). This is important for companies who work with or plan to contract with government-owned entities.
